How Can I Report Another Player For Inappropriate Behavior? 

AAU esports takes any type of misconduct very seriously. Please contact us if you are witness to any misconduct and we will take immediate action.  There is a “contact” option at the bottom of the site or you can email us at support@rivalgames.com

Is There An Age Minimum Or An Age Limit? 

So long as you are a member of the AAU, AAU esports has no minimum age required to sign-up and participate. However, players under the age of 13 will need their parents or legal guardian's permission and acknowledgment as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Please see the "Privacy Policy" for more details.  The Rival platform has the ability to limit gameplay to a specific age range when requested or appropriate. 

 

What is Your Privacy Policy? 

AAU members operate under Rival's Privacy Policy.

Rival is the National Operating Partner for AAU esports.  The backend technology provided by Rival allows the AAU to offer it’s membership an esports platform to compete in National Tournaments and Leagues.  

 

Does AAU esports support Xbox and PlayStation? 

 

Yes, AAU esports supports both Xbox and PlayStation consoles. 

Please note: 

Your Xbox and PlayStation gameplay must be streamed on Twitch for AAU esports to record your gameplay and utilize it to confirm your manual score entry. This also allows you to watch replays of your games from your AAU dashboard.   

 

What are the Rival Coins used for? 

 

There are a number of cool things that come with earning Rival Coins and will vary based on several factors including:  time of year, type of events, player preference, etc.  

Here’s a sample of what coins can be used for: 

  • Access to exclusive Tournaments 

  • Entry into National Events 

  • Discount codes for certain purchases 

  • Bragging rights with friends and teammates 

 

How do I earn Rival Coins? 

 

There are several different opportunities to earn Rival Coins.  The best way is to simply utilize the platform and participate as often as possible.  There will be daily programming available for users.  Win or lose, you earn coins by competing!!  Users will be alerted upon entering a Tournament how many Rival Coins are up for grabs!! 

 

If I have an Xbox do I need an Xbox Live Account?  If I have a PlayStation do I need a PS Now Account? 

 

Xbox Users 

Yes. You need an Xbox Live account no matter what to play other Xbox players online. Please sign up for a Twitch account if you have not as well.  You will play your games on your Xbox as always. The AAU esports platform allows you to make the most of your existing Xbox and Xbox games by competing in tournaments and events!   

PlayStation Users 


Yes. You need PS Now account no matter what to play other PlayStation players online. Please sign up for a Twitch account if you have not as well. You will play your games on your PS as always. The AAU esports platform allows you to make the most of your existing PS and PS games by competing in tournaments and events!   

 

How do I change my profile name/picture? 

This is set by your Xbox account. To change your Gamertag or profile image, you need to go to your Xbox profile.  Rival currently is not able to access and bring over your PlayStation profile picture, but hopes to be able to do so in the near future.

 

What about playing on a PC? 

Sorry, AAU esports does not support PC gameplay at this time. But never say never! 

 

Does AAU esports powered by Rival have a mobile app? 

Our application is mobile responsive and can be used with any device that has a web browser. The Rival mobile app is available for download in the Apple App Store. The Rival Android app is coming soon!   

 

Can I create a private match and if so, is it customizable? 

AAU esports has the ability to offer private matches. However, in the initial programming phase, only Tournaments will be offered to users.  We anticipate our 1V1 modular release will happen in the near future.  Once available, a “1V1” option will appear on your dashboard.   

 

Can I submit a game suggestion?
