Madden NFL 21 PlayStation- How to invite an Opponent

To invite an opponent on Madden you will need to be on the Madden start screen. 

You will use the left stick to scroll over to the “EXHIBITION” tab on the bottom of the screen and press “X”. Then scroll down to “ONLINE HEAD TO HEAD”, Press “X”. You should then be taken to the “Online hub”. 

(:17) From this menu, you will want to scroll down to “PLAY A FRIEND” and press “X”. On the left, you will see a tab with all of your PlayStation friends that play Madden, if your rival isn’t there you will need to add them as a friend. Scroll down to your Rival Opponent's Gamertag and press “X”. 

(:35) Next, press the options button. This will take you to the “Create Game” screen. Here you can change your game settings. Once you have matched the game settings to the Rival settings press “X” to invite the other player. 

(:50) Once you send the invite you will be taken to the “Team Select” screen. Here you can choose your team, jerseys, and more. 

Once both players have pressed “X” on “READY” the game will automatically begin.
