Rival Games Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement (SHT)

Introduction

This statement, issued in accordance with the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015, sets out the steps we have taken during the financial year ending 31 December 2021 to seek to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in our own operations or in our supply chains. This policy will remain in effect and in force until such time it is updated by Rival. It sets out our approach for dealing with the potential risk of slavery and human trafficking in our business or within our supply chains.

Our Values and Policies

We are committed to acting ethically, working to the highest professional standards and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.  We take a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking and any other illegal or unethical conduct.  This commitment is supported by our corporate policies, including our Code of Conduct Policy, which encourages employees and workers at all levels to report suspected illegal or unethical conduct and provides guidance as to how to raise such concerns and our Anti-Bribery Policy which sets out our responsibilities, and of those working for us, in observing and upholding our position on bribery and corruption.

In addition, all our employees and workers are expected to behave in accordance with our Code of Conduct Policy.  This requires them to establish and maintain ethical standards and raise any suspicions of unlawful or unethical conduct to their direct manager and/or our executive management in line with our Code of Conduct Policy and our core values, which include “Doing What’s Right”, so that we act with honesty, integrity, transparency, respect and in a socially responsible manner.

Our Supply Chain

We are committed to ensuring that slavery or human trafficking do not take place in any part of our business or within our supply chains.  We will not knowingly support or do business with any organization that is involved in such practices, and we would seek to terminate any relationship immediately where evidence of the same occurred.

Our key suppliers span the globe and include key institutions in the cloud computing, cloud hosting, and telecommunications sectors and they are screened by us to ensure that they are a suitable organization with which to do business.

Future steps

We will monitor the effectiveness of the measures that we are taking to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our business or our supply chain, including building upon and improving the policies that we have put in place. This statement was approved by the board of directors and executed effective January 1, 2022 by Rival’s Chief Compliance Officer.
